Aaron Puckett co-founded Christian Planning with his brother, Jacob, to help Christians approach financial decisions with professional care and a thoughtful understanding of biblical stewardship. A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Aaron brings decades of financial experience alongside a longstanding commitment to his church and community.
Aaron began his career in financial services in 1998 and has served as a financial advisor since 2002. He founded Puckett Financial Group in 2007 to provide independent financial services to individuals and families. His approach emphasizes coordination, working alongside CPAs and attorneys to help clients understand how the different parts of their financial lives fit together.
An ordained ruling elder in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), Aaron understands stewardship as a responsibility that reaches into family, church, work, and community. Through Christian Planning, he helps clients consider retirement, investments, generosity, and legacy in light of both their financial circumstances and their Christian convictions.
Aaron earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Finance from Frostburg State University and an MBA in Finance from Loyola College. He previously served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland Global Campus, teaching undergraduate finance courses and classes within its CFP Board Registered Program. That teaching experience complements his work helping clients understand complex financial decisions.
A lifelong Carroll County resident, Aaron lives with his wife on a small family farm. They have three grown children. He has long served local charitable, community, and recreational organizations.
